round ubin expedition omg tired tired sunburn sunburn. this time round we used the two men slalom. which was made of fiber. the material use to make those old old bus stop shelter. and we are prone to fiber cut. which can itch for days and days!! so being smart. we chose a new looking one. boat number 55!
it was spacious. unlike river boats. but the effort needed seems to be a lot more, must be the weight of two guys. have to work on my paddling skill. a bit unbalance. our boat seems to be drifting right all the time!!!!
i packed two apples and 3 packer of milo.(pls don ask me if i made milo. i drank the powder.) 3litres of water!! okay im a kiasi when it come to water. and i can share the extra right.
so we cross the channel to reach ubin. was near the chek jawa broadwalk but did not dare to go near. later kena police fine. so we reach the first check point at the npcc campsite. 7km of rowing. 15km more. that was were i had the best view! right infront was just a big island and a small fisherboat. no tall skyscrappers. just trees and the big sea! next we head on towards the outward bound singapore. and we saw those very very cool boats on the way there. which is not really a boat. as i don know what it is. you know. those speed boat. the person will stand up. holding the handle. and is damn fast.......... zoom and they have pass us. countless times.
didnt know palau ubin is so near to malaysia already. i swear we could just row to malaysia. so from OBS we row towards pasir ris. cross the big boats channel and reach the police coast guards centre. then rain god decided to gave us WAVES!!! it rained. pretty heavy. and i saw those watersprout! so cool!! so shiok!
went back. bath and went home. thanks alot to the instructors. GREAT TRIP! i was practically hitting the pole in the bus. so damn tired. can even stay awake while walking home. in the rain. okay heres a waterspout. but what i saw was quite far. still very cool!!
26days left to the singapore marathon! to the malaysia holiday trip which im not going! to the sunday before term test!
last friday which was the 7th of nov. went over to jem hse to have a short assassin's creed and bball game. had loads of fun. played 1v1 with pei ren!!! hahahaha i finally won him.
decided not to have starbucks with monkey and leo. we should wait until csl's As are over. and until i have save some money.
then one saturday 8th of nov. had kayaking at changi water venture!! so fun. so we decided to just row to ubin and make a quick row back. when we reached there. TK said "hey there got chio bu!" next thing was the chio bu took a loudspeaker and said some warnings about the trees and rocks. turn out it was a guy. so we row our hot ass back to changi. had subway and two of the adults left. damn i tot they still in army... when they are already working adults and one of the guy has a kid already. so after lunch. we went back. do the usual waiting for bumboats to provide us with waves. and i found two balloons in the sea. tied it to my hat. LOL. but got sick of it and let it off.
sunday. went out with my parents for brunch. bought 3 pens with one dollar. mom paid the rest.
monday. the rest is schooling.
talk about how the world, the government and the society works. we are just like the beginning... still full of emotions. but we will all smile and move across. as we all have one lifetime.
let the tide flow so today had the 6km trip for my two stars. my hands are dark. but not my face! thanks to my hat. very useful. so i was chosen to be the expedition leader. fun fun! no need wait for people. no la. as a leader have to make sure we move safely.

16th oct. walk walk from kallang to city hall to raffles place. only bought a 10dollars hat. im happy enough!!! NOT.

today we fould the beacon at the left side of the DA!! yes yes yes! with our perfect eyesight ky. we found it.. and the stupid plate. cant even read the words can. while slacking happily looking at the beacon. we saw a huge ship heading towards us. and ships are like pig. they may look slow. but when they run.... its another story. so rush back to shore. had our usual lunch. next up. volleyballs. haha long story short. we were sort of ah. sort of resting. then saw this group of girls playing volleyball. then ky went to toilet. i sit around. then we messed around. even borrowed the girl's ball and tried to play. nothing much. tried to get our instructor caleb to take a look at our rowing skills. but to no avail.

one month of hell and FUN! its been a long long time since i blogged! lots lots lots of stuff has happen. keep it simple ya. im now a one star kayaker! met some very steady MJ ODACians, one woman from the US working in the banking sector, one training lawyer from UK who has a degree in chinese studies from taiwan, an indian from indian working in a us company which does engineering stuff and last but also the least, one indian and one malay from BB of loyang sec sch. interesting people we have met.
so last sat me and ky went back to do some relaxing rowing. 10to5. visited the whole pasir ris beach. did countless capsize drill. did lots and lots of clapping during capsize. water confidence increased! sort of bumped into the mjc odacians again.
my cough for 3 weeks has decided to move along. 23bucks in total of 2 visits to polyclinics.
play pool after last sat rowing session. total cost seven 10. each person 10bucks. will have another important post for this.
life has been good. more dive shops are located. some have relocated. 400bucks towards underwater hockey. weekdays are sometimes fun but mostly boring. weekends are well spent with friends and family.
speaking of family. shawn birthday last two weeks. sarah birthday coming sat. must must must rmb to bring camera!!!!! xbox sessions again.
